As part of our mission to make landform design routine worldwide by 2030, we are excited to offer the <strong>Landform Design Institute Student Award<\/strong>. The yearly prize of <strong>$500 CDN <\/strong>will be awarded to one outstanding student member of the LDI.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic student members who are pursuing a full-time post-secondary accredited college or university program in a related field.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Eligibility&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To be eligible for the LDI Student Award, applicants must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li>Be a student member of the Landform Design Institute (see below)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be enrolled in a full-time, post-secondary accredited program related to Landform Design or one of its disciplines.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Application Requirements&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To apply, submit the following materials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Completed <a href=\"https:\/\/landformdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/LDI-2025student-award-application.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"2277\">application form<\/a> (PDF)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">A 400-word responseto the award question (please refer to the <a href=\"https:\/\/landformdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Student-Prize-complete-announcement-March-2026.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"2277\">application form<\/a> for specific question)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Proof of post-secondary enrolment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">R\u00e9sum\u00e9<strong> <\/strong>(maximum 2 pages), which should include: <br><ul><li>A summary of your educational background<\/li><li>Professional experience<\/li><li>Awards and recognitions<\/li><li>Extra-curricular activities related to landform design or sustainability<\/li><\/ul><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Submission Details&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Deadline<\/strong>: November 30, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Submission method<\/strong>: Please email your completed application package to <a href=\"mailto:jasmine@landformdesign.com\">jasmine@landformdesign.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Email subject line<\/strong>: \u201cLandform Design Institute Student Award\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">This award is made possible through the generous support of our corporation members and sponsors, and it\u2019s our hope that this award will encourage the next generation of landform design professionals in their pursuit of sustainable, innovative solutions in the mining sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The winner will be announced at the 2027 LDI Annual General Meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LDI Student Award&nbsp; The LDI is committed to creating and supporting a global community of landform design practitioners, helping their teams design and build truly sustainable mining landscapes.
