It allows industry, regulators, and communities to work together to manage costs and risks, minimize liability, and produce progressively reclaimed landscapes with confidence and pride. Done well, landform design leads to a positive mining legacy \u2014 it is a pillar of sustainable mining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">This site provides landform design practitioners and those interested in this emerging field with useful principles, tools, and case histories. \u00a0We hope to create a worldwide community of landform designers.
