Dr. Gord McKenna, Chair of the Institute, will host the meeting. All members are invited to attend. The agenda and Zoom coordinates are available on the members' site.

Peter Whitbread-Abrutat
Peter has a long history of working on the front lines of progressive and sustainable mine reclamation and related projects. He has a PhD in mining environmental science from the Camborne School of Mines at the University of Exeter and spent a decade as the senior scientist for the Eden Project, a reclaimed china clay pit that now hosts the world's largest indoor rainforest. He is the co-author of 102 Things to Do with a Hole in the Ground, which explores how to repurpose mine sites and rejuvenate mining communities by rebuilding with ecological integrity.
The AGM will also include an election of directors, a look of the LDI's accomplishments of the past year, and a review of its strategic plan. All members of the LDI are invited to attend the meeting, which will be held virtually on the Zoom platform. Members can find the agenda, meeting ID, and login coordinates under the "OPERATIONS" section of the members' site.
